Then professional handler Bruce Schultz took over ... and when the dust settled two years later, Brit had defeated over 110,000 dogs, winning a record-setting 49 Bests in Show, 141 Group 1s, 14 BISS and the GSPCA National Speciality Show. She also won back-to-back Group 1s at the Westminster Kennel Club.
Not content with US show records, Brit & Frank Cresci swept the Canadian Centennial Series with 8 Group 1's and all 3 Best in Shows. ..a record that will be safe for another 100 years. Returning to her first love, Brittania and Terry Chandler completed her Dual Championship on the very date she had first taken Best in Show. Brit is the only bitch in GSP breed history to be a BIS, NSC Dual Champion.
Brit did not disappoint as a producer, either. She produced 20 show champions, 3 Dual Champion daughters and our breed's first Champion/Obedience Trial Champion: CH OTCH NMK’s Sharwill V Lowenbrau, UDX3, JH, CGC HOF - "Zoe" .
Brittania was taken from me too soon. Her memory burns bright and it is a great comfort that so many judges still remember Brit well. Her record as Top All-Time Winningest GSP in Breed History still stands tall.
